The new Caterpillar C7.1 diesel engine bench is a standard trainer that demonstrates major engine systems to groups of students without the access limitations of a complete vehicle. Engine systems respond to inserted faults with real world symptoms, OEM DTCs and MIL operation. Meets Tier 4 Final emissions regulations.

    ○ COMBUSTION SYSTEM – Direct Injection
    ○ COMPRESSION RATIO – 16.5 : 1
    ○ ROTATION – Anti-clockwise, viewed at flywheel
    ○ LUBRICATION CAPACITY – 13-16 liters (3.4-4.2 US gal)
    ○ COOLING CAPACITY – 15.2 liters (4 US gal)
    ○ EMISSIONS – EPA Tier 4 Final (US), 2014 EU Stage IV (Europe), MLIT Step 4 (Japan).
